Leonardo Sarto returns from long-term injury as Glasgow Warriors get ready to host Zebre in the Guinness PRO12 on Friday night (7.35pm).
The Italian international winger has not played for the Warriors since October following shoulder surgery, his last game coming in a Man of the Match performance against Leicester Tigers in the European Rugby Champions Cup.
The 25-year-old is one of 13 changes to the starting XV after last week’s loss at Munster, only centre Nick Grigg and back-row Rob Harley surviving.
Henry Pyrgos skippers the side from scrum-half while teenage back-row Matt Fagerson starts at No.8.
On the bench hooker Cammy Fenton could make his first appearance at Scotstoun and first of the season, while Sean Lamont will look to make an impact following the announcement that he will retire from rugby at the end of the season.
Glasgow Warriors’ Head Coach Gregor Townsend said: “The players are determined to finish the season on a high, and there is a real enthusiasm throughout the squad to play well in front of our home crowd.
“We will have to be accurate, focused and out-work our opposition, as Zebre come into the game in good form. It should be an excellent challenge for this group of players.”
