Two Scottish universities will contest the final of the BUCS Trophy later this month.

The showpiece event takes place at the University of Bath on March 22 and in the rugby final the men’s teams from Glasgow University and Edinburgh University will meet.

This week in the last four, Glasgow defeated the University of Exeter’s third XV 43-39 while Edinburgh went down to the University of Reading and came out on top 25-12.

Meanwhile, in the BUCS Championship quarter-finals Edinburgh University’s Ladies squad put in a cracking showing to see off Bristol University 67-5.

They are set to play Durham University in the semi-final on March 22.
